Statuses

Despite the fact that we're having all kinds of different cell types, we only have a few harmonized cell statuses across all of them.

When a cell is being created it is assigned the status "draft".

Cells in status "draft" are only visible to their creators (or: original stewards).

Cells with the status "open" are a) visible to the network and b) can be interacted with.

[...]

There are currently 2 ways for a cell to go from "draft" to "open":

  1. Once the cell creation process has been completed successfully and no start-date has been set for the cell, the system automatically switches its status to "open"

  2. If a start-date has been set throughout the creation process, this cell will be automatically triggered to "open"
