Last updated 2 years ago

Social capital has been approached from different perspectives and disciplines, resulting in a huge variety of and . There is disagreement about what is and is not social capital, confusion about , and widespread use of different terminology.

This is why we have come up with our own definition of Social Capital.

Components

As of today, we are considering the following 3 components to calculate an agent's social capital on haelp

Calculation:

As of today, we are creating the sum of all active cell memberships the agent themselves is NOT a steward of at the present time.

Storage:

PostgreSQL Database (Web 2.0)

Future Plans:

We are planning to take the entire architecture of haelp to , a Web 3.0 framework for distributed applications, where every haelp cell will be a unique and secure agent-centric non-fungible token (NFT) by the nature of the underlying technology.

Description:

The HPC Balance shows an agent's current credit balance of haelp coins that they can actually spend. [...]

Calculation:

HPC Balance = (sum of all incoming HPC transactions) - (sum of all outgoing HPC transactions)

Demurrage Rate:

Currently 7% /per month as a disincentive to hoard HPC and to achieve more efficient allocation of capital. Learn more about the theory behind demurrage

Storage:

PostgreSQL Database (Web 2.0)

Future Plans:

We are planning to take the entire architecture of haelp to , a Web 3.0 framework for distributed applications, where every HPC transaction will be a unique and secure agent-centric non-fungible token (NFT) by the nature of the underlying technology.

Description:

With the HPC Lifetime Value we are daring to conduct a fascinating social experiment: we want to find out what happens if we as agents are offered a metric / indicator of the amount of money (in our case haelp coins) we have ever earned!

With the HPC LTV we want to even more encourage the "flow of money" while still catering to the agent's potential desire to "accumulate something".

Calculation:

HPC Lifetime Value = sum of all incoming HPC transactions:filtered(coming from a cell where cell steward β‰  this agent)

PostgreSQL Database (Web 2.0)
